The Glengarry and the Balmorral (pictured) are the newest caps in the Southern Jurisdiction of the Scottish Rite, worn by the Knights of St. Andrew, 32º Scottish Rite Masons who have not been invested with the KCCH. Like the Knights Templar of old, our aim is to provide a selfless dedication to the Valley of Los Angeles, so that our brethren and families may have a more enjoyable experience with our Valley. We provide services that include escorting visitors, relieving Tilers who faithfully guard the outer door and assisting stage crews and Stewards, among other duties.

Serving as a Knight of St. Andrew is especially helpful for new members to learn about Scottish Rite and get involved with their Valley. The best part of what we have been able to accomplish is the camaradarie and lasting friendships among our members.

Our business meeting is the first Friday of the month at the Santa Monica Masonic Center at 7:00 PM. We meet in the "Craft" Room on the third floor.

Though primarily for 32nd Degree Masons, any Scottish Rite Mason in good standing may join. Our application fee, which includes first year’s dues, is currently $50.00; annual dues are $20.00 per year for regular members and $10.00 for emeritus members.

If you'd like to become a member, please download an application (PDF).
